At Celebration Community Church we believe:
The Scriptures to be inspirited, infallible, inherent, and authoritative living word of God, full and complete (2 Tim. 3:16-17; Ps. 138:2b; Heb. 4:12)
In one God eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit collectively exhibiting the full nature and personality of God (Deut. 6:4; Lk. 3:21-22; Matt. 28:19; 2Cor. 13:14; Acts 17:3; Lk. 4:1)
In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His bodily personal future return to this earth in power and glory. (1 Thes. 4:13-18; Phil. 2:5-11; Acts 2:22-28; Is. 7:14, Luke 1:30-35; Heb. 4:15)
All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God and that only through repentance and belief in the redeeming blood of Jesus Christ is one cleansed from sin and restored to a right relationship with God. (Rom. 3:23; Rom. 6:23; Acts 3:19: Rom. 10:9)
Those who accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior are saved by grace through faith and are born again by the Holy Spirit and immediately receive the gift of eternal life. (Eph. 2:8-9; John 3:16; Rom. 6:23; 1 Pet. 1:23; John 3:3-7)
In the resurrection of both the saved and lost, the saved to everlasting life and the lost to everlasting punishment. (1Thes 4:16; Rev. 20:12-15)
That all Christians have the ministry of reconciliation and are called to share the life of Christ, living it as well as speaking it. (Col. 1:10-14; 2 Cor. 5:18-20; 2 Cor. 7:1; Matt. 28:19-20; Mark 16:15-16)
It is normal for a Christian to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit as a distinct experience, following conversion. (Acts 2:4; Acts 9:17; Acts 10:44).
In the operation of the Gifts of the Spirit enumerated in 1 Corinthians 12-14, as manifested in the New Testament Church. In the ordinances of the New Testament Church as found in Scriptures. Including water baptism by immersion following profession of faith in Jesus Christ and the consistent partaking of the Lord’s Supper to remember Him and proclaim His sacrificial death on our behalf. (Acts 9:18; Acts 10:47; Acts 2:38)
